Key resorts in Majorca

Palma city

Palma itself is well worth getting to know, boasting a 13th-century Gothic cathedral and hilltop palaces, castles and fortresses.

Want to live like a local? Wander the historic district with stunning architecture, delicious cafes and experience first-hand the city’s art and culture, dating back more than 1,000 years.

Magaluf

The resort town of Magaluf is all about fun. By day you can soak up the sun on one of Magaluf’s beaches, chill by the pool of a luxury hotel or visit a theme park for a thrilling good time. Then, when the sun sets, take in the roaring nightlife at any number of bars, pubs and clubs. There’s something for everyone here.

Alcudia

Alcudia is the perfect Spanish resort for a family holiday. Most of the pubs are child friendly as are the beaches and there is plenty for families to do.

Old Town has 14th-century architecture to marvel at and tonnes of nooks and crannies to explore. The kids are sure to be kept happy by the waterpark and go-kart track when they aren’t splashing in the sea.

Puerto Pollensa

Puerto Pollensa is the place to be for a more laid-back time in Majorca. The glistening shore and beaches are hugged by a picturesque town of stone houses, cobblestone streets and the Serra de Tramuntana mountains towering in the background are truly breath-taking.

This bay town offers more than just amazing views, with Roman ruins to explore, a glass bottom boat tour of the crystal clear waters and seafood restaurants or wine bars to visit in the evening.

Calla Bona / Calla Millor

Calla Bona and Calla Millor are destinations for those with the thirst for exploration.

Sun, sea, sand and rocky coves make up the amazing scenery. But it’s the sheer number of ways to see this resort that makes it special. See it from the air in a sunset hot balloon ride, get fit while you explore by hiring a mountain bike or if peddling isn’t your thing take the motorbike tour instead. Discover incredible scenery when you take an ATV or a 4-wheel drive buggy off road  or get below the surface with scuba and snorkelling session.

Playa de Muro

Playa de Muro stands out for its natural beauty. The beach is surrounded by rocky cliffs before spilling out into clear blue sea. Parque Natural S’Albufera national park is a must see as well. In its diverse ecosystem you’ll find sand dunes, marsh land and greenery all in the same place. Hundreds of birds nest in the national park as well, making it perfect for any bird-watching enthusiasts.

There is still a lively side to Playa de Muro too, and the promenade is lined with classy hotels, varied restaurants and countless shops for souvenirs.
